The question was whether it was better to use ADL or just expose for the highlights and lift shadows in NX2. With the old D60, it was apparent that using ADL was a better way to go. In Aperture Priority, the camera did choose different shutter speeds with ADL turned on.I charged both batteries and the D80 came to life. The D300 will not power on. No green light indicator when the battery is placed inside, nothing. I read some of the suggestions on the forum and followed those.
