I have read that Condado is closer to old San Juan and has a miami beach/south beach vibe but the beach water is dangerous. On the other hand, Isla Verde in Catalina is further away but has calmer beach water but has a more calm and quiet vibe kinda like the Brickell section of Miami. The airbnbs we see seem to be only in Condado centered.
